Mark Obama, the chinese half brother

I attended a private concert of Mark Obama Ndesandjo, half Brother of Barack Obama, in Shenzhen (深圳).
The evening’s program: piano sonatas from Beethoven and Mozart.
The outstanding American pianist plays with a lot of enthusiasm and great inspiration.
Being a Stanford physics graduate, Marks speaks Mandarin fluently with a slight Henan accent.
When this man speaks he speaks wisely and cautiously.
Launching the concert, he gave us an advice :
« Take all your time to listen. I leave it up to you to determine if that helps you to be happy tonight ».
Then with a sweet and affable voice, he introduced each musical piece.
Next to him, his wife, Liu Xuehua, from the Henan Province (河南).
What a great moment !
I’m thinking about buying his book “Nairobi to Shenzhen: A Novel of Love in the East” which tells his own story : a Jew, an afro-American, his experiences in Kenya and the United States and at the end the pursuit of happiness, joy and pleasure in today China.
His eyes fixed on Liu Xuehua, he concluded with a voice full of emotion :
“In my life, I would master nothing but love, because love meant light and happiness”.
I will add this one from Bob Marley :
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.”
